Deputy Head of Research & Development
Leading R&D across vector databases, blockchain innovation, and large language models. Owns technology strategy, evaluates emerging tooling, and turns prototypes into production. Manages cross-functional teams and partners with senior leadership on long-term platform direction for Cambodia's financial infrastructure.
Product Owner
Owned the product lifecycle for financial systems serving Cambodian banks and licensed institutions. Led requirement analysis, roadmap planning, sprint prioritization, and stakeholder coordination across engineering, operations, and compliance. Delivered Oracle FLEXCUBE integrations and interbank settlement under strict regulatory timelines.
Senior Backend Developer
Architected backend services for high-throughput financial transaction processing — routing, clearing, and settlement micro-services for interbank payment infrastructure. Worked extensively with Kotlin, Spring Boot, Oracle, and message-queue integrations, and set engineering conventions still used by the team today.
Digitization Software Developer
Built digitization tools and internal automation for the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology — workflows to process institutional records and free faculty from repetitive manual tasks. My first production-scale software maintained for daily non-technical users.
Web Developer
Full-stack web development on Ruby on Rails — end-to-end features spanning database schema, server-side logic, and front-end rendering. The foundation of my appreciation for clean, convention-driven backends and developer ergonomics.
